A 15 years female, with a lump in left breast gradually increasing in size. It was painless, not associated with fever or constitutional symptoms.
On examination, a lump of about 6*4 cm was palpable in left lower quadrant of left breast in the 3 to 5 o Clock position. It was firm, rubbery, mobile with no associated skin or nipple changes. I did not palpate lymph nodes though.
Ultrasound findings are shown below.
Labs were normal.
Procedure:
After following antiseptic measures i.e. painting with pyodine and draping, I marked my incision site, gave local and then proceeded with my operation.
